Glasvegas release a new track from their forthcoming album in the shape of ‘If’ on 8th July.
Following the release in April of ‘I’d Rather Be Dead (Than Be With You)’, ‘If’ is another taster for fans of their third studio album, ‘Later… When The TV Turns To Static’ which will be released in September.
Described by lyricist and singer James Allan as a realisation that ‘if it wasn’t for the bad stuff the good stuff would be invisible to you’, ‘If’ melds trademark Glasvegas’ soaring choruses to a martial drum and a Phil Spector inspired opening in what is fast becoming a live favourite to stand beside some of the band’s most beloved moments.
‘If’ will be released worldwide on July 8th 2013 on Go Wow Records/BMG Chrysalis.
