Shake The Cage (für Theo) [SLAM REMIX]

Two musical words collide as icons from opposite ends of Glasgow’s sonic spectrum come together for a unique collaboration.  Over a year in the making, this Remix sees two of the most innovative artists in music bring together their passions and their sounds to produce an entirely different breed.

Shake The Cage (für Theo) originally appeared on Glasvegas’ most recent album Godspeed, and was the only contemporary track included on the soundtrack of Creation Stories; the Alan McGee Biopic

GODSPEED

Godspeed was released across all digital platforms on 2nd April 2021 and just over a year later on heavyweight vinyl via their own label Go Wow Records.  Godspeed is the band’s fourth studio album and takes place “all on the same night, just as the sun’s going down.”  The album presents a fragmented portrait of a single evening’s events.  From strident techno to joyous singalong anthems, Godspeed captures that quintessential Glasvegas essence – incomparable, uncategorisable, and ultimately just fucking great music that actually means something.
